 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival for the safari

Upon you arrival at the airport, you will be met by our guide and he will transfer you to your lodge (Moivaro Coffee plantation Lodge). You will relax with in the cottage as you enjoy the view of mount meru and also unwind on this lodge private verandah. The lodge is located outside the town of Arusha and it has got its own gardens and provides a gentle introduction of the natural beauty of Tanzania.

Day 2: Enjoy the Mulala Cultural Tour safari

This is found on the slopes of Mount Meru and this village of Mulala offers beautiful insight into the traditional life with in Northern Tanzania. The tourism project is mostly coordinated by the local women who share their skills as well as stories. You will take a tour that is guided of the small subsistence farm as well as home stead and you will discover the traditional techniques of making cheese as you listen to the tales from the village and also walk to the waterfalls with the locals. Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara National park

Lake Manyara National Park is also a perfect stop for your safari since it’s a compact national park which offers a collection of habitants. You will start in the forest which is a mystical world where each of the move can bring new wonders. There are many baboon troops that roam, swing through the trees and then skip across the trails. The old males also sit and ponder while the babies keep on testing their boundaries as the eagles soar over the head. The impalas as well as the eland lurk found in the trees and these are the first of the antelopes you will see first in the forest. Day 4: Have a Bushmen Tour in Lake Eyasi

These are the indigenous tribes that are slowly disappearing across the African continent. There are very few of these tribes remaining in Tanzania. The Hadzabe bush men also like around Lake Eyasi, and these have continued the practices of compel and enthrall. These take their arrows and bows into the forest as they side step through the trees and tracking the animals with their skills. These traditional hunter gatherers have always known how to bring home a meal for the village. You will have to spend the day with the local Bushmen as you get to experience their way of life in the remote areas of Africa. This is a place where fire is still lit by rubbing sticks. Day 5: Visit the wonders of Ngorongoro Crater

This crater is never quiet and you will slowly descend into the inactive volcano, which is the steep track that will take you down 2000 feet and into a surreal animal world. The elephants and zebras make the journey safe as they head down the slopes and also keep a watchful eye for the lions. Some lion prides rest along the trail. However, as you stop to admire, the lionesses will take interest in the safari truck. You don’t need to worry and they are not looking for a meal, they are just resting in the shades of the truck and however, be warned since it’s wise to keep your hands inside when the lioness is two meters away. The big cats also roam throughout the Ngorongoro and the land is able to sustain the huge numbers of zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and the warthogs.

The Ngorongoro secret lies in its rich fertile soil. The grass here always grows and trees always rise as well as the savannah provides for an immense concentration of the four hoofed inhabitants. Day 6-8: you will explore Serengeti National Park

You will plan to see hundreds of wildebeest that occupy a grass plain; as you view close shots of lion prides that wish to take down the zebras. You will view the elephants moving across the immense open land scapes. At times, this park feels fictional and you will start feeling like these places don’t exist anymore on earth. For the three days you are to spend here, you will view the endless plains and make out the resident herds, the yellow grass that is filled with the zebras and wildebeest. You will find over 2 million mammals that move around the Serengeti during the annual migration of the wildebeests.

You will view many predators, big cats, lions, as well as leopards. Game viewing is also easy on these tracks of the plains since the big mammals don’t have many places to hide. There are many elephants, giraffes that graze without any protection. You will view beautiful views at the lodge where you will spend an overnight. Before you enter Serengeti on day six, you will have a stopover at the Olduvai Gorge, which is a place that holds the secret to human evolution. These are the common places where you can find the lions, cheetah, Buffalos dik dik, antelopes, 500 bird species, giant Marabou, and the flocks of vultures.

Have breakfast at the lodge and after you will be transferred to Arusha or at the airport for your departure back home.
